01 — Our story
And everything made sense.
An unlikely encounter that gave rise to a love which hasn't stopped growing. Three years on, we still choose each other every day.
And nothing makes us happier than celebrating it with you.
Thank you for being here.
02 — The wedding
The ceremony and reception both take place at the monastery itself. A single setting for the whole day, surrounded by vineyards on the banks of the River Avia. No moving around — just enjoy.

03 — The day before
Friday, 2 October · central Ourense.
On Friday evening we'll be waiting for you in Ourense for a more intimate get-together. A relaxed dinner, no formalities, to start the weekend off right.
We'll post the time and place on this website closer to the date. If you can make it, it would really help us if you let us know in the form below.
04 — Dress code
Formal. A morning religious ceremony in a 12th-century monastery.
Bear in mind that the celebration mixes indoor and outdoor spaces, and it will likely get cooler at night.
05 — Getting there
Leiro is about 30 minutes from the city of Ourense via the OU-540. We recommend staying in the city of Ourense and using the shuttle bus we are arranging.
We are arranging transport from the city of Ourense to the monastery, and back again at the end. You will receive the exact departure point and times once you confirm your attendance.
The monastery has its own car park.
From Ourense it is roughly 25–30 minutes. We recommend booking ahead if this is your way back.
There are good train connections to Ourense from all three Galician airports.
SANTIAGO · CORUÑA · VIGO
That said, the quickest and most convenient is usually the connection via Santiago.
You can take a bus or taxi from the airport to the train station, and from there a fast train to Ourense.

07 — Things to do
If you are travelling in, here are a few ideas to round off the weekend. Ourense has far more to offer than first meets the eye.
What to do
Hot springs
Thermal waters right in the city. As Burgas, Outariz or Muiño da Veiga, all free to access. Perfect for a Sunday morning.
Old town
The cathedral, the main square, the old quarter. Well worth getting lost in its streets for a while.
Roman bridge and riverside walk
The Roman bridge is one of the symbols of Ourense. Cross it and take the chance to stroll along the riverside path beside the Miño, one of the most pleasant spots in the city.
Ribeira Sacra
Less than an hour away. The Sil river canyons, vineyards on vertical terraces, monasteries. If you have Sunday free, it is well worth the trip.
Ribeiro vineyards
San Clodio sits at the heart of the Ribeiro wine region. Wineries and vine-covered landscapes everywhere. The local white wine is a must.
Where to eat
Fuentefría
Galician tradition. Timeless home cooking.
O Comellón
Generous portions. Family atmosphere.
A Casa do Pulpo
Galician-style octopus. A must.
Tapería Arco da Vella
Creative tapas. Highly recommended for a bite.
Pingallo
A city classic. Seasonal produce, no frills.
Welcome to Galicia. And thank you for sharing this with us.
